Sources and Update Policy

Last updated: Oct, 8th 2026

This page explains where our information comes from and how we keep it current.

Where our information comes from
We rely first on official German sources, such as Make it in Germany, the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit), the chambers of commerce (IHK) and the craft chambers (Handwerkskammer). Every guide links to the official page it is based on.

How we use other sources

  • Job portals and employer pages help us find openings. We summarize them in our own words and always link to the original.
  • Forums, social media groups and reader questions help us find out what applicants are actually confused about. We treat what people report as experience, not fact. We confirm it against an official source before we state it, and we label anything we could not confirm.
  • Other websites are never our source for figures or requirements.

What “last updated” means
The date at the top of each page is the date we last checked it against its official sources. A change of wording alone does not change the date.

How often we check
We aim to recheck figures that change, such as pay and language requirements, regularly and before the main application periods. Openings are reviewed often and marked as closed when they end.

If sources disagree
We use the official source, and we say so on the page when the situation is unclear.

Corrections
If you spot an error or an outdated detail, write to info@ausbildungcorner.com. We check every report and update the page with a new date.
